From a small hawker stall in SS14, Subang Jaya to about five branches or more in Klang Valley, Uncle Lim Fried Chicken does make its way to become a famous spot for fried chicken cravers. I must admit that their fried chicken isn’t only crunchy from the outside but juicy & tender from the inside as well. There are actually quite a few options in the menu on what you want the fried chicken to served with but the main one will be either served with rice, vege & fried egg or in Chee Chiong fan. We went to their newly opened branch in SS2, Petaling Jaya and it was fully seated! Probably it was because of public holiday.
Here you have it, the full set of meal with fried chicken, rice, vege, fried egg served with their in house curry and sambal sauce. Something worth mentioning is that the curry and sambal do form a perfect match to the whole serving. The sambal is more towards sweet rather than spicy.
I did order the mutton to try out but it was just so so to me. Indian cooked mutton always the best right? Hahaha. Not bad for Chee Chiong Fan with generous serving of curry. You also have the option to substitute curry with sweet sauce for the chee chiong fan.
Our total bill came up to RM30++ for 2 persons. A very good deal I would say with such a generous amount of serving. Keep it up Uncle Lim Fried Chicken and for those who haven’t try out their fried chicken, do head over to try and share some of your thoughts with me!
