Walaa! one of my favourite spot for noodles in Subang Jaya, Uncle Seng Home Made Noodles! There is nothing much to mention about the char xiu and the wantan as they are just as normal as other noodle stall but when it comes to the noodle Walau eh. No jokes guys! Unlike any other normal wan tan mee which is dipped in black soy sauce, Uncle Seng Home made noodles is purely yellowish white in colour and rather thick as well. With a combination of pork lard, it does push the serving of noodles to a whole new level.
Rather than just ordering the normal char xiu & wantan as side dishes serving, there are other choices such as the chicken curry, chicken feet, mushroom, etc. Most of the time I would order some extra deep fried pork. They are crispy and most come from the leanest part of the pork. Low cholestrol! LOL.
Being countless time visiting Uncle Seng Noodles House, I learned that some of the customers would ask for a small portion of chicken curry to mix with their noodles. I tried that and hell yeah it was good! So now everytime when I am there, it became like a habit. By the way, they also serve their own home made chilli sauce as well. Some of the customers would prefer those chilli sauce but I still prefer to mix with the curry.
I remembered the first time I had Uncle Seng Home made Noodles was in the year of 2009 when I was there for my college study. Until now, the shop is still there at the same spot. The quality, I would say is still as good as the old times eventhough they have been for many years. As of what I remembered, they only have 2 branches, the SS15, Subang Jaya & Bandar Puteri, Puchong. I hope that they continue to maintain the quality and continue to serve as one of the best noodle spot in Subang Jaya.
